{"id":886,"date":"2024-04-12T14:23:52","date_gmt":"2024-04-12T18:23:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.exac.ca\/?page_id=886"},"modified":"2026-02-27T13:19:37","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T17:19:37","slug":"request-for-review","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.exac.ca\/en\/results\/request-for-review\/","title":{"rendered":"Request For Review"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you fail one or more sections of the ExAC, you may request a review of your exam results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The request for review process exists to verify that the original determination of a \u2018FAIL\u2019 on one or more exam sections is a correct and accurate representation of your performance at the ExAC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The red multiple choice sheets will be reviewed by hand against the answer key and analyzed to ensure that there was no inaccurate computer-scoring of the paper. The short answer booklets will be marked again by architects trained in exam marking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examinees will not be given a number score on their performance after the review. Only a \u2018pass\u2019 or \u2018fail\u2019 determination will be made and will be issued in the form of a revised exam transcript. There will be no opportunity to review your exams for tips or help with passing failed sections. The results of this review is final and no further appeals will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fee<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The fee for requesting a review is <strong>$300<\/strong>, regardless of the number of exam sections to be reviewed.
